A Medical Specialty

Contact Information

Oklahoma Spine & Brain Institute formerly Neurosurgery, Inc., is a single specialty private practice group that is dedicated to delivering the highest quality neurosurgical care possible. We will provide through compassion, technology and education, quality Neurosurgical Health Care to each person we serve.

By concentrating on our special areas of interest and expertise, we can fulfill our goal of becoming the leading provider of neurosurgical services in North East Oklahoma. We will always place quality of care above cost considerations in this age of "managed" care and will pay close attention to patient confidentiality in the process.

Neurosurgery is the branch of medicine involved in the treatment of the brain, spine, spinal cord and nerves, especially those conditions that require surgery. This includes conditions of the spine (low back and neck) and procedures such as:

         • Microsurgery for ruptured discs,
         • Endoscopic and laser spine surgery,
         • Neck surgery for ruptured discs or trauma
         • Spinal fusion and instrumentation.

Neurosurgeons treat conditions of the brain including:

         • Trauma
         • Blood vessel abnormalities including aneurysms and arteriovenous
             malformations.
         • Facial pain
         • Congenital birth defects involving the head or spine
         • Brain tumors with "knifeless surgery" such as the X-knife.

In the nerves, neurosurgeons treat entrapment diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar neuropathy with both conventional and endoscopic surgery.

Our physicians and staff are prepared to care for neurosurgical patients' needs. We value the opportunity to provide you with care and we want your response to our treatment to be a positive one.
